The one off Atlantic City has some convection firing but also check out the ones off to the SE.

Buoy reports:
http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/Maps/Northeast.shtml
http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/Maps/Chesapeake_Bay.shtml
there's a North Wind at the mouth of Delaware Bay, but all the other obs in the area are NE and NNE.
Gusts and sustained winds ahve been increasing too.

for those who are curious, here's the forecast discussion for Philly, covers the Jersey Shore regions, mentions the small surface low we've been talking about.
http://www.srh.noaa.gov/fwd/productview ... &version=0
AccuWx also says "Tropical Storm force winds hitting Jersey Shore" as its header but of course this is inaccurate...the buoy at the mouth of the delaware has gusts to 36 kts but no tropical storm force sustained winds. There aren't even gusts that high on the coast.
EDIT
found a gust to 40kts at the AC marina. http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=acmn4
so AXwX was right.
