My cat, Mac, could use alittle prayer...
I found a lump on his neck about a month ago. We tried to get to him to the vet a few weeks ago, but there were some scheduling problems for Marty and some emergencies that occurred when Marty brought him there. Anyway, I brought him tonight, and the vet asperated it and viewed the cells under the microscope. She said that she thought that she saw some "funky cells", but wanted to have a pathologist look at it and give his report. The results should be back in 2 - 3 days.
Can you say a prayer for my little (or not so little
) buddy, Mac? Thanks!

Thanks guys!
weathermom- we think he's about 8 or 9 years old. HE adopted us at our old house 6 years ago. Before I brought him inside (to the DELIGHT of my other cats!
), I had him tested and got him his shots. The vet said he was about 2 then.
He's a BIG orange tabby;

Miss Mary
Stephanie - aww, Mac is adorable! Or I should say a very handsome guy....I am a cat lover, as you know. Now dog too. So I know how worried you are. I will most certainly pray for Mac. Say no more....began praying before I even read what the situation was.
Hope developed a small growth just below her lip. She also had that dry skin area, which I thought was a hot spot. Started a topic about it a few weeks ago. Turns out the rash wasn't a hot spot but a staph infection. That's all cleared up. The Vet looked at her growth and said he's almost 100% certain it's benign. They almost always are. She had a benign tumor near her lip about 4 years ago. But it was very large, the size of a marble. This is very small. Vet said why bother removing it if it's not bothering her. She hates going to the Vet, shakes something awful. So we're just watching it for now.
I will pray Mac's bump is benign too.
