Help needed again with research paper
I'm sorry I keep asking for help but for this one, does anyone know where I can find the monthly average for major hurricanes January through December? Or at least May-December....I can only find the monthly averages for August-October in Dr. Grays forecast but I need more than that. Thanks!

Is this global major hurricane count? I don't think such information will be easy to get. Atlantic/Carribean/GOM would still be 2 majors on avarage for the season. There is no logical reason if they wanted avarage atlantic occurances year round since we don't have a year round season like the WPAC.
I would be safe to say that NHC's avarages indicated for the season to be the avarage number of storms in the year. It would be inaccurate to say that it is 0.2 a month per year. The official avarage I believe is about 2 major storms a year in Atlantic basin.
