Did I read right that they flew at 1500 ft. to get the center SLP (extrap but not from typical 10-15k ft flight level)?

Plane is heading to base so no more missions until tommorow late morning. The only way this system may be upgraded before tomorrow at 5 AM is if a ship that may be in the area registers tropical storm force winds.

New plane on the way, equipment failure botched the fight that should have been there.

Today it has not been the best day for the squadron folks. The first plane the AF300 that was supposed to go this morning had problems but I dont know what kind. Now the second plane the AF304 tookoff but after that no more information for an hour.So aparently we will not have recon data until after midnight when the next mission will go.

Ok the plane is now in the Caribbean sea so I think that around 4 PM we will have plenty of data to see how strong she is.
