Weather in Lima

#1 Postby El Nino » Sun Oct 16, 2005 4:51 pm

Hi all,

I'm a new member in this forum. I'm living in Lima, Peru ... Belgian married with a Peruvian woman.

As you can see here : https://www.fnmoc.navy.mil/products/NCO ... nomaly.gif

The water is still very cold at the Peruvian Coast, with 3° negative anomaly. Of course, it does have impact on local weather with too low temperatures for that time of the year : around 19° and it should be above 20°. Lots of low clouds and recently yet some very unpleasant drizzle. The last 2 days, more sun, as we are more going towards summer. Hopefully, we'll have some pleasant days with above 25° days from december until April.

Cheers.

According to Peruvian specialists, it's not before 2009. For the moment, it's more a neutral ENSO with really cold SST here. You can sense it, and lots of people are complaining about that, including me a cold weather-fan !
