Based on history it would be an anomally if this system made it all the way to the Yucatan Peninsula. Historical records say otherwise.

Thanks for the track link, interesting. None of those go west of Cuba, and it looks like that at least is going to happen. A northerly track nearer to Havana aims it much more at SF and the Keys.
Anyone ever plot historical recurving? Seems there's an arcsin (x) function or something that could describe the curve.

Yeah any other year I would say you're probably right but this year some how I just don't think storms are following history too well.
