Moving due SW now... but it's only temporary right?
I'm not convinced it won't hit the Yucatan before it curves northwest... also looks like it's going faster to the SW, like 6 mph.

It looks very good right...I was looking at satelilte was a few hours old. If this was any other storm I would say its likely a tropical storm now. This is based on this satelilte which only shows the top half exposed.
