Accuweather always seems to make things go to major cities. Not any less likely than other scenarios (that is, the error is such that it is equally likely to hit anywhere along the Florida coast and that is viable option in any setup), but there's a lot more non-major city coastline than city coastline.

LOL! As usual, it's narrowed things down quite a bit, hasn't it.

While so many people are too busy bashing accuweather...
I am concerned about a major hurricane threat...
And the accubashing isn't helping a whole lot...

Most of us in FL are, but unfortunately, we don't have a clue where it's going yet, and probably won't for a few more days. Once there's a better handle on the direction Wilma will take, we'll have plenty of time to worry. Until then, it's nice to have some humor around IMO  And for what it's worth, Tampa south seems like a logical place for Wilma this time of year....

Yes. They are saying .. "Anyone in North or Central America should start worrying now."

Glad they narrowed it down a bit.

Or maybe, they should have a "Circle of Doom" TM just in case it turns any way of 360-degrees.

Hmmm, somewhere between Key Largo and Honduras on Saturday. Now that's a forecast.

I'm going to predict that it snows in Chicago sometime between December and March.

They got them some good writers there too. "Forecast Eye Path"? Could we have a storm forecast instead of an "eye" forecast? Sheesh.

why does everyone bash accuweather constantly. It really does need to stop your not making yourself look better than them.

Tampa Bay and southfloridawx2005 - it has to do with attempting to take away our ability to have a forum such as this without hav ing to pay big bucks for it. The implications of the bill they are trying to get passed is far reaching and the consequences are much worse than some seem to understand. It would cut off the flow of info we use here such as satellite data, models, etc.

regardless of a bill or not doesn't it make sense that conversation would belong in another thread not the:

WON'T HAPPEN!!! The warnings have been given previously and they have been public. There is a huge difference between discussing the bill and discussing the weather. As stated earlier, STORM2K is not a bash site. TAKE THE BASHING ELSEWHERE!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE LAST WARNING!!!

It is fine to discuss what you think about the maps from accuweather RESPECTFULLY.

its not like accuweather is a bunch of rank amatuer forecasters. these guys are pros with alot of experience and the smart people will take the accuweather info into consideration. they should be respected as you pointed out.
