Wow...

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Maybe they're referring to Katrina's path reversed through S. FL LOL

It is sad the way they overhype some things in that way

I heard this on FOX news last night from Brett Baier (sp?) as he was about to introduce JB...

"TD Wilma is gaining strength in the Caribbean sea and looks to strike the areas affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita...Accuweather Met. JB is here with more."

The look on Bastardi's face when the camera went to him was priceless. The first thing he did was correct pretty much everything that had just been said...it was pretty funny.

It'll merge with Vince's remnants and become a Cat. 5 in the Mediterranean.

This morning Netscape's headline was "Monster Storm Wilma Forms; Eyes Gulf Coast".
I emailed Netscape and told them it was barely a tropical storm at this point and they were right there with the National Inquirer in their shock tactics. Truly inexcusable.

Journalism seems to be dead. People shouldn't let their kids watch the news anymore, its probably the worst thing you could do to a child. Not only is everything out of context, half the time its wrong. I guess its a product of live television and the chasing of ratings. Things don't have to actually exist, they just have to entertain.

Oh my how you are right...I can't wait to hear this. We'll be seeing CNN reporting live from Bourbon St, FOX News will be at the Lakefront, and MSNBC will be located somewhere in St. Bernard Parish....bunch of fools.

Media always blows everything out of proportion before they need to. No one knows where Wilma is going except she is sitting in the Carribean right now.
