Did anyone else catch Joe Bastardi on Hannity and Colmes?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Did anyone else catch Joe Bastardi on Hannity and Colmes?

I did. Wish I didn't. According to Joe, my county (and Manatee) is wearing the bullseye and he's still predicting a chance of this storm reaching Cat 4 by the time it gets up to the Yucatan Channel.

JB didn't mention ANY specific area.

All he said was FLORIDA. I watched it also.

You still have a week, don't focus on counties quite yet. Lets see it clear the yucatan before calling cat 4 doomsday.

I thought I heard him say "Southwest Florida"...it seems that he's buying the GFDL solution.

Not if it accelerates. We could have less than 4 days. And this is not going to be a great area to evacuate. It will take a month just to get all the poodles and blue hairs off Longboat Key.

I hope he did pick Sarasota County. That means it won't be hit by several hundred miles, which is his typical margin of error.
