If i lived in tampa or anywhere along the western coast of Fla. I'd be keeping an close eye on the strength of the ridge in the Atlantic which as of late seems to want become a double barrel high with an second center just north of Puerto Rico

Tonight's early 0z runs indicate NO north shift. And this is with the synoptic flight having been done with most or all of the data put in. Don't relax yet Tampa, but things are looking better and better.
