I wish this hadn't happened on Avila's watch. His tame advisory style doesn't suit this occasion.

I find that highly respectable of Avila..

Straight to the point and he and the forecasters have more important future responsibilities at hand than writing something that Hemingway would be proud of.

I saw one advisory from Stewart on Wilma recently. As you would expect, it was excellent, full of information about the storm and its meteorology.

even if it doesn't break the record before the ERC it will have time to get the ERC over with through out the day today then start deeping again tonight (wednesday) and through out the day on thursday and it could get even lower then 888mb if it does that!
