The nhc was talking about this new eye being 40 nmi...Its not going to be easy for Wilma to to what she did earlier with that. On the other side of the coin she will have a large area of hurricane force winds.

not saying we will see anything close to what we had last night but so far we've only gone through the NE quad if i am not mistaken

Not that this has to be true now but earlier recon had the strongest winds on the south side of eye.

121 knots at .9=125.2 mph at the surface...I'm guesting this will be the highest of the northeastern quad...


This is weird the winds go up again at the end??? This thing must be going through 2 or 3 EWRC's?

now the outer maxima is stronger than the small tight one that was just passed through.

the old 2-4mile core doesnt just disappear......it gradually weakens....that is what was passed through on the last data post. it went ne wall-eye-sw wall all in a couple minutes because of the tiny old eye.
