I'm still sticking with my gut and saying Cedar Key, Fl. Trough will not dig down as deep as forecasted, but enough to pull her north on a more gradual turn instead of sharp turn.

Homestead/upper Keys. I think the interaction with the Yucatan is going to tear this storm up, it will stall there for a bit, and it will further deteriorate once it gets into the GOM. Given enough time, the trough will no longer be as big a factor as thought and the storm will not be pulled as far north. Remember all the discussions the past day about if the storm continues a westward movement into the Yucatan it would mean a hit farther south for FL and not farther north...we've seen that come to pass. The more northern tracks were more likely if it were not to hit the Yucatan at all or just skirted the tip.
