This is becoming a watch-and-wait game. Well, the northeastern Yucatan is about to get slammed by a Cat 4 or 5 storm over the next two days--and as if that weren't bad enough; it then toys with southern Florida for yet another extra day. Track forecast is shifted left, but then reaches the same track after two to three days taking the storm in near Naples and out between West Palm and north of Miami. Of course, a small shift in the forecast could threaten another city along the western Gulf Coast--from Tampa down you're not out of the ballgame yet; although, if you're in Tampa, I wouldn't be extremely worried right now. Intensity is also lessened for Florida landfall and shows a CAT 2/3 entering.

I'm really worried about my friends in the Yucatan! Especially Cozumel... they did well through Emily, but the beach bars on the east side were just rebuilt, and the road was almost done being repaird too. They have lost so much money this summer, and most of them just barely get by as it is. I wish it would roll farther east a bit so the worst would miss them
