Its over the new eye is 35 nmi wide....I don't let the pressure rise to 918 fool you that is just the larger eye. The winds are up to 150 mph at the surface now.

I'm worried now...the ERC is over, the pressure is 918 MB, and the FL winds have shot up to 145 KT from what...125 KT (Referring to previous vortex messages)?

This is going to be very bad for the people in Cancun and Cozumel.

Well hopefully it will continue to pull more north....Maybe they will only see the Western side, allthough the western side of a cat 4/5 probably will still be bad enough..

Still 918 millibars with 145 knots...But the eye has grown to 40 nmi wide. In theres now a 11 degree difference=Restrengthing very soon!

It(the eye wall) could close off again very quickly, storms go through these fluctuations.

I was just listening to the met on CNN. He said the plane just reported a windspeed of 167 mph...not sure how old that report is...but he did say a plane was still in the storm. Haven't seen any reports for quite a while here on S2K.

The 167mph was probably the 145 kt wind that the plane recorded earlier.
