Immediate News Release to all S2K Members! (humor)

#1 Postby artist » Thu Oct 20, 2005 3:30 pm

just to help lighten things up for this stressful week for Floridians-

"The National Audobon Society has just added crows to it endagered species list due to the North Atlantic hurricane seasons of 2004 and 2005. They have requested that members of Storm2K to please find a nother species to serve up. Some recommendations were wild boar, wart hogs or even pteradactyl. They are requesting the release of this information immediately in the fear of the distinction of crows before the end of this season and added fear they will move on to another winged friend before it is ended."

LOL y'all are too funny.

To replace the crow, we can always use the sea gull - they're abundant down in these parts ;)

What about a pie..

Crow Pie:

1 crow
stuffing of your choice
salt and pepper
shortening
flour
2 Pie crust mixes
2-3 hard-boiled eggs

Stuff the crow. Loosen joints with a knife but do not cut through.
Simmer the crow in a stew-pan, with enough water to cover, until nearly tender, then season with salt and pepper. Remove meat from bones and set aside.
Prepare pie crusts as directed. (Do not bake)
Make a medium thick gravy with flour, shortening, and juices in which the crow has cooked and let cool.
Line a pie plate with pie crust and line with slices of hard-boiled egg. Place crow meat on top. Layer gravy over the crow. Place second pie dough crust over top.
Bake at 450 degrees for 1/2 hour.

From the official archives:

Mission Specialist Cycloneye captured this image of the Storm2k shuttle preparing to launch the new S2K weather imaging satellite. This launch brings the total number of Storm2k satellites to 6. Mission Commander Chadtm80 deftly handled the positioning of the shuttle as Mission Crew Leader mfdolphin prepares for the launch of the satellite.

Due to the changes in laws regulating the dissemination of weather data, S2K indicates that Imaging is predicted to begin immediately to fill the gap in the data that the public so desperately needs. Mission Commander Chadtm80 said "although we've gone to great expense to build up our shuttle fleet and create these new technologies, we still plan to provide this data free to the public via our website".

Congratulations to Storm2K on another successful launch.
