From look at the imagery (radar and satellite) it definitely looks like there will be landfall of the eye on the Yucatan between Playa Del Carmen and Cancun

No at this rate NE, because it looks to hit the mainland Yucatan slightly north of Cozumel (maybe after partially passing over the island). Hopefully it passes over Cozumel so they can get some calm (they need a break, theyve been experience major hurricane conditions probably for 6 hours now).
