The hurricane should be passing between Monday and Tuesday, thereafter, I would consider seriously to cancel the event.

Given the uncertainty on if and when this storm will come through and its strength, I will give you my "politically incorrect" opinion (at least as far as this board goes...):

I would go on with business as usual until there is, if there ever is; a Hurricane Warning.

I am probably the only one who will give you this opinion on this board.

Flame away at me folks but we have sat here for days now waiting on this storm and it could be days more until it resolves one way or another.

Just my opinion....... 8-)

cancel it, if you are spending money on tix and hotel cancel it, too much model agreement the last few days bringing it up here. otherwise feel free to cmon down and help our local economy. i guarantee you the elbow room at a1a and las olas will be open until they can't keep the beer cold any longer. if it misses then the meeting goes on otherwise you are here and the meeting is cancelled and you can enjoy TS or cat 1 type winds.

Thanks for all the advice. If tomorrow was a weekday, I know we would wait to see what happened for a little while longer, but with the weekend comming up - he needs to get to word out today if its a no-go. Honestly I can't imagine people would be excited about going as of right now with all the uncertainty.

Reschedule. Looks like it'll be here M or T. Already we're getting the first junk for it and it will only worsen as time goes by.

Yes... but the effects are going to be there long before that. Already bands are spreading over the area and it's only Friday.
