Based on the current projected track, probably late tomorrow for the watch. I would say if the track stays the same we'll see a hurricane watch from around Tampa Bay all the way down through the Keys, and for the east coast... probably from around Daytona Beach southward through Miami...

Max Mayfield, at his 11:30 press conference, just said that on the current track, watches, etc. probably would go up for the Keys Sat. night. The current TS windfield goes out about 200 miles so they'll be the first to feel the TS winds and will need to be under a watch early because of that.
Trust the NHC. They've got a good handle on when to put up watches/warnings to give people enough time to do what they need to do. Additionally, all of us in FL have had a couple of extra days so by the time the watches/warnings are up, there shouldn't be much left preparation-wise.
