Cold front coming south; not mentioned in Wilma forecasts?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Cold front coming south; not mentioned in Wilma forecasts?

#1 Postby dolemite » Fri Oct 21, 2005 3:17 pm

Hey guys - relative newbie here. This may sound like a dumb question, but I don't hear/see much mention at all about the impending southbound cold front into the Gulf area.. won't it have a major steering effect on Wilma? I'm in West Palm Beach and, being lazy, am waiting 'til the last possible instant to shutter the house.

*Wait - let me put my flame-suit on..

OK, all set.*

Anyway, why isn't this being discussed more on TV & radio & so forth? Is it not that influential on Wilma's potential path back east :?:

I live in Miami and it's been discussed on every tv station.
It's what is suppose to 'push' Wilma, isn't it?

The front IS what's going to push Wilma into Florida...
