#1 Postby cancunkid » Fri Oct 21, 2005 2:23 pm

http://stormcarib.com/reports/2005/mexico.shtml check out this site for some photos taken by a realtor who is on the beach in Cancun. Look for the name CancunKev he has a couple of entries with photos of the beach below the hotel window and some pics of himself too looking far to happy about it all.

Just wanted to let everyone know Kevin has posted new photos. Some of these are pretty amazing. I think he is right the ocean and lagoon will soon meet.

He just put up a shot of the pool from a couple of months ago for comparison. They are certainly taking a hit.

I think he said he had generator power - could be using satellite for internet access, maybe?

I see palm trees that have been knocked down, and the structural damage, but I still can't believe that tiki hut thing is still there, with the palm frawns still on it. Amazing photos, hope some how he can keep them coming, these might of been our last set of pics.

Wow. Amazing pictures. It's weird to look at the earlier pictures taken from his balcony and then read about its roof colapsing. Also, I'm so glad he posted the "normal" shot for comparison. Really makes you appreciate them even more.

I see someone found the link I posted earlier this morning. I am glad someone else put it up as I thought this morning it would be an interesting read. I didn't even think about being able to see photos. They are amazing. I feel for those that are there. how frightening. :(

It's amazing he can still post reports.
His last report said he estimates he winds now to be over 100 MPH with gusts to 130 MPH
