NHC Atlantic Discussion....

CENTRAL ATLANTIC TROPICAL WAVE ALONG 44W/45W S OF 17N MOVING W 15 KT. THE WAVE HAS A LOW AMPLITUDE AND IS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF STRONG WESTERLY SHEAR...WHICH IS PUSHING ALL DEEP CONVECTION E OF THE UPPER TROUGH AXIS (ALONG 44W) IN THE AREA OF BROADEST UPPER DIFFLUENCE. SCATTERED SHOWERS/TSTMS FROM 8N-14N BETWEEN 40W-44W.

Also a weak Mid level circulation near ALPHA...but doesn't look too impressive and probably too close to ALPHA to develop.

WEST CARIBBEAN TROPICAL WAVE ALONG 78W/79W S OF 15N MOVING W 15 KT. A WEAK MID-LEVEL CIRCULATION IS NOTED ALONG THE ITCZ NEAR THE PACIFIC COAST OF PANAMA...OTHERWISE THE WAVE IS EMBEDDED IN BROAD SOUTHERLY FLOW FEEDING INTO HURRICANE WILMA AND HENCE HAS NO SIGNATURE. ISOLATED SHOWERS S OF 12N OVER THE SW CARIBBEAN.
