I absolutely HATE sinus headaches, Wilma probably is the cause of it though. The pressure will only continue to fall.

You know, every time there's one anywhere close, I get serious sinus problems. Katrina, Rita, especially.

Right before posting, I felt that familiar pressure on my face, like someone with a steel boot stepped on my face. Argh! :grrr:

Well 10 minutes ago my sinus headache just became the worst ever for
me--- but now I feel better after some drinks

Guess it's due to a combination of wilma and the huge temperature
contrast across the cold front...

Both my son and I get the same way. Anytime a storm is near whether from a Hurricane or a cold front coming through my allergies/sinus get out of control. I am so bad today I thought I was coming down with a cold but I know it is only the allergies!

And this will pass too........

Last year with the storms I had severe ear aches for days as well as sinus problems. I'm praying it doesn't happen for Wilma. Maybe she is far enough away from Tampa it won't happen.

I also get headaches and have had one today that I can't get rid of so there must be something to it

Being in the medical profession, you have just entered my main area of expertise. Yes, pressure changes can cause sinus headaches. It would be best, if you have some non-drowsy sinus preperation to take it. Otherwise a Tylenol and warm moist heat. Stay safe, be alert and god bless.

Think of it like being on an airplane. Symptoms will worsen with the pressure. Hope all you guys are okay and use relief methods that will not affect your awareness.
