Matlacha Bridge Damaged...

A couple of shrimp boats broke loose from Dobby's Marina and smashed the bridge. It is the only way to get off and on Pine Island. The bridge is closed...you cant get off or on the island.

Is this the Pine Island near James City. I thought James City was on the west coast................................

yeh, Pine Island is between Sanibel and Cape Coral. St. James City is on the South end, Bokeelia to the north.
