#1 Postby dolebot_Broward_NW » Thu Oct 27, 2005 8:10 pm

I'm back all, family is fine, noone hurt, even made it through the gas lines and the ice/water lines unscathed. Thankfully power is back on in spots for NW Broward, (Restaurant row on university in Coral Springs, N central Springs, Along Pine Island in Tamarac), and I got to enjoy a nice steak at Roadhouse tonight! Glad to be back in business :)

Yeah!! I got power back today too....hopefully my generator will go back into storage for *a long time* !

I think it helps that we live by a main road and we have about 5 gas stations in a one mile radius around us....every one of them had a long line too.

It's odd how much we take electricity for granted, daily. I mean, I feel for you guys who have had to endure days and days without power, let alone those who will have to wait weeks.
