As active as 05 has been, with 5 or six records broken, I dont think a Nov Hurricane is unlikely. Hostile today is not hostile tommorow. I do think the likely hood of a land fall is remote.

I think we all pray you are correct!!!! I was barely affected by Rita, but with so many here at S2K so severely affected this year, it is like this site can't even take any more, much less the millions that have had their lives altered forever!!! I still keep each and everyone of you in my prayers.

5:30PM TWO

CLOUDINESS AND SHOWERS OVER THE CARIBBEAN SEA SOUTH OF HISPANIOLA
ARE ASSOCIATED WITH A TROPICAL WAVE. THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF
ORGANIZATION AND DEVELOPMENT...IF ANY...SHOULD BE SLOW TO OCCUR.

Still nothing going on . . . and it appears like it will stay that way for now.

This season broke a bit more than 5 or 6 records

Of course the biggest record was breaking the most # of storms in a season and getting to Alpha.

Then of course breaking the strongest hurricane record.

Most hurricanes in a season.

3 Cat 5's in one year.

Vince only storm to form that far north and east and hit spain as a tropical cyclone.

Strongest July hurricane.

2 majors in July

The costliest hurricane now is Katrina.

Isn't October the most active October ever this year?

There were a few more that I don't remember.

Most major hurricane landfalls in the U.S.(Dennis, Katrina, Rita, Wilma).

I hope it stays that way. I hope this season comes to an end now. No more hurricanes needed.

It picked up on some development earlier in the season. The other models were a day behind. Looks like alittle MJO beginning.
