This is a cool cold front!

#1 Postby David » Tue May 20, 2003 6:11 pm

Temps in Kansas are WAY below average! Goodland only made it to 59, oppose to their average 77. Topeka was 13 degrees below normal, making it the coolest May 20th since 1980, and the 8th coolest May 20th on record. :?

Sigh, I want warmer weather and rain! Maybe next time, like I say to all other svr wx events, lol.

I bet you want Florida's 94 degree weather, or my 72. ;) 59 is my low temps! :o

This front will be cooling my area off as well.....High tommorow is expected to be near 60 after a low tonight of 40 and tommorow night will probably see the upper 30s!......I will take this over any 90 degree weather anytime.....

It "only" :D made it into the mid 80's here today. Currently at 74.7 degrees. The cold front moving through the Mississippi Valley should bring some rain to Florida tomorrow and the next day.

That's 10° cooler than normal! Of course,
the rain is moving in!

Well, I wouldn't mind upper 70's when I run track for the Sunflower State Games in July, but last year it reached on or above 100° 5 of the 6 days. :( thankfully it was a blue track, so it didn't reflect so much heat.

In Topeka, I doubt those upper 70's will occur, by then!

Pray for low 90's!

I just noticed that the temp here is 56 degrees. Tonight's low around 40. Tomorrow's high is going to be 66... 10 degrees below normal.

Last year the temps in my area never made it to 100 degrees, but then again we had rain off and on almost all summer.

Well it got pretty chilly here last night which i dont mind......Had a low of 36. That rain you are getting in SC weathergeorge is related to a low pressure and a cold front that should clear your area by tommorow.............It should bring near or slightly below normal temps to your neck of the woods for a few days........

Thanks for the Infomation, King Of Weather. I should expect temps
to be in the 70s though. I'm gald it won't be like the cold outbreak
like we had last May.
