How many people will stay during the off season.

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

I must admit now that I live in SE Fla, I will probably be a very infrequent visitor to the site outside of Hurricane season.
I used to live near Charlotte NC and a snowstorm or ice storm there was the equivalent (to me) of a Tropical Storm or Hurricane here.
At least the following of it and tracking were similar to me.
Of course the consequences were considerably less except for an particularly nasty ice storm.
I wish I knew of S2K when I lived there 2 1/2 years ago.

My visits have already become infrequent. Hurricane season really impacts us here and this site provides invaluable info. We don't really get much in the way of winter weather down here. I'll pop in from time to time, but family and house stuff (we're still trying to arrange repairs from Katrina!) really eat up much of my time. So, if I don't post much for awhile....
Thanks so much to you all for being there during this terribly hectic hurricane season (which I pray is over!). Y'all are the greatest!!

Still around yes, even feels a long time since it moved through here. I've had to go looking for new charts though as it has moved out of the range of my normal charts. Ex-Wilma is the 989hPa low at just above 80N. http://www.wetter-zentrale.de/pics/nws1s.gif
