David, I forgot Crouton was adopted. Ok, Clarabelle was our cows name. I think Poppysky would know the armadillo's name. I can't believe we've lost our animals. I know Crouton will come back if for nothing else, he loves the food.

I'd love to have that eggnog recipe. Let's see do I Captain Morgan or Southern Comfort??? I think I'll try both later this evening.

Have a good debate Garrett. Breeze, I'm with you. This has been a long week and I'm sooooo glad it's Friday. This will probably be one of the last weekends for the fall leaves. It's beautiful here. Temps will be in the 70's today.

Well, I'll brew a pot of Earl Grey. I brought some snickerdoodles - enjoy.

Have a great day everyone. Sit back and enjoy the warmth of this friendly place.

Good Friday, S2K Family!! :D

Garrett, you and your team kick bootie there at Lee's Summit, Wxbuddy!! :D *RAH RAH, GO GARRETT & TEAM!!!!* :D :D 8-)

Forecast to get up to the upper 70s today and tomorrow here in the Triangle area of NC!! :D Ahh...Indian Summer in November! :D

Leaves are slower to turn here in central NC...but from our kitchen window and facing an area of woods near a golf course...there is at least one brilliant tree of yellow and orange splashes of color! :D

Brunota, you wouldn't mind giving one of those glazed KK's to a Wxbuddy would ya? :)

I'm interested, too, in how your homemade nog turns out and will be looking forward to copying down your recipe! :D

Have a Fantastic Friday, Everywxone! :D

Tell my cousins in Lee's Summit I said hello and GO Team Go!!!! I'm sure you have them ready. We know you are a great teacher!!!

Actually, we adopted Crouton the pig from a former TWC OCM who was/is a member here who moved to the NC area and said he could keep his pig. CRS causes me to forget his name. We decided that Crouton was lonely so we then brought in the other two. But, I think we aren't the best animal keepers and we didn't want them to be too restricted anyway.hehehe

Better finidsh the get ready for work routine. Laters and EVERYONE HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!!!

OK....."Name that OCM!" DANG Brother David, you've got my BRAIN HURTING NOW......WHO the HECK is/was it?!?!?!?!?!? Bob Childs maybe? It was Bob something wasn't it?

ANYWAY....MAN, whatta DAY!! I spent ALL day preparing evidence for disposal from our property room, do you KNOW HOW MUCH STUFF accumualates over the YEARS!! Stuff collected over time HAS to be held in the property room for "7 YEARS!!" Then, you have to research ALL the items, LOG them, file a petition with the court to DESTROY the items, then FIND a place that is EPA certified to BURN the stuff, ya know, DRUGS, weapons etc. WHATTA PAIN! AH WELL......"Waaa, waaa, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" LOL!

That's nuff outta me tonight, so until tomorrow, "May the Good Lord Bless and Keep You!" I'll leave the light on and stoke the fire!

Okay, so that's the official origin of Crouton. Can you believe I missed the meno on that, way back when? I just kept hoping for it all to make some kinda sense, but it never did!!!

So, do you mean Bob Stokes? LOL

Or was it Carl Parker? He was a fave of TLC's and she was around back then.....

Whadda I know.....

What I do is I am just wiped out this Friday night! I only put in 15 hours in a HS cafeteria this week, but man oh man, I worked my tail off each shift. Start to finish. Physical labor! I'm just not used to such a fast, hectic pace!!! But I will get the hang of this....I've come to conclusion I'd like to remain a cafeteria sub (3 to 4 hours a day). Some work 6 hours a day, I don't think I'd be up for that. Still get very tired, even 6 years after my cancer was licked. Keep thinking I won't get so worn out but I am! Sleeping in til 7 tomorrow - woohoo! I should add that I've been doing many chores before and after my shifts each day, so getting up at 5:20 everyday and working from about 8 until 7 at night, is getting old! I need a snowday...and it's only November....he he

Miss Mary, you're doing the smart thing by working 3-4
hours a day. Don't overdo it, my friend. And, I'm with you
on the Snow Day - I've been wanting one (or two) since
around July! I've taken a grand total of 3½ vacation
days for this whole year! I get 2 weeks, but, I've been waiting
to see when Mama has surgery on her foot, pending until
around the first of December.

I hope Garrett & Gang came out on top, today!

Thanks for stoking the fire, Dennis. I'm going to curl up
with an afghan and have some of Karan's hot tea.

Mmmm....that's already making the past week ALL better!
