The westerlies are reaching deep in the tropics so I think the fat lady has sung, thank god.The only rain we'll get is from cold fronts.

It's not over until it's over and that is at 11:59 PM EST on november 30th.Having said that I can say that where I am fresh NE trade winds are refreshing Puerto Rico meaning a wintertype pattern is establishing. If anymore systems form the 2005 season is going to the history books for many reasons that we know.

It's not over until 12 AM EST on January 1st, 2006. Allow me to remind you of Alice from 1954? Stuff like that can still happen ;D

Also what about Odette in 2003? Lili in 1984? Anything can happen. It is 2005 after all.

Still possible to get sheared TS's, especially out in the Caribbean and the open Atlantic.

It's not over until its over on DECEMBER 31st. After all, we've had a lot of storms form in December, or last into December, in recent years. I would just like to point to Odette and Peter. If that happened, with a completely inactive November, we'd be pushed the Delta. After December, new storms won't add further to our record, although any sizeable February or January storm would be a record in itself.

It's 80 degrees here today... while I agree most of the activity is over, I still think there will be one storm somewhere(although probably harmlessly far from land).

...I'm honestly tired of this. Thank you, though, to those of you who echoed my usual reminder when stuff like this comes up. At least we have quite a few people on here who know when the season really ends.

Well, that time is correct if it's in UTC. The season ends at 7pm EST December 31st.
