How stressed are you??

#1 Postby j » Mon Nov 07, 2005 1:18 pm

The pictures below are used to test the level of stress a person can handle.

One teacher said, "I felt like they were all moving...but slowly. Kind of like, they were breathing."

The slower the pictures move, the better your ability of handling stress.

Alleged criminals that were tested see them spinning around madly; however, senior citizens and kids see them standing still.

FYI ... None of these images are animated - they are perfectly static!

I see them moving slowly and kind of erratic.

I MUST BE NUTS!!!

Don't answer that j!

Actually, they are moving slowly and erratically for me as well. It's when you move your eyes slightly that's when "they" move.

The brown-green one seems static...the others appear to "move", but very slowly, and only in one place at any given viewing.

"What...me worry?"

OK.....I tried this on 3 officers here at the station, 2 detectives, myself AND Michelle.....we all could see #1 moving VERY slow, #2 moves VERY ,VERY little..NOW, here's the trick, do a "stare down" if you will, stare at both of them WITHOUT blinking, not moving your eyes at ALL and they ARE STATIC  YEAH.....that's the look

Dennis, you're right. If I stare them down, they don't move. Otherwise those little buggers are waving and all over the place.

When y'all say moving slowly and very slowly, I wonder if that's what I'm seeing. I mean, they're not jumping off the monitor onto my desk or anything but I wouldn't want to be in the street with those things chasing me!! Image

I tried that by focusing on one of the "objects"/"shapes"...you're right, nothing happened at all, AND I had to employ "the look".

I'm so stressed....they jumped off of the screen, slapped me,
called me a few names, and, then, jumped back on the screen,
pretending to sit still...

...where's my Xanax?
