Generator Safety Lesson

#1 Postby wxman57 » Thu Nov 10, 2005 7:03 am

With the 2005 season likely at an end, I think it's important that I remind all of you about proper generator safety. Generators emit deadly carbon monoxide gas. It is colorless and odorless. Always make sure that you keep your generator on the OUTSIDE of your car, as this Florida resident demonstrates. ;-)

That is too funny, but I know is is nice and cool in there, with a wall unit blowing ice cold air in the small space. :D Not a bad idea really. Makes for a wonderful place to come take a break and cool off, and sleep as well. Hopefully he shared some of that cool air with his neighbors.

All of you South Floiridians better take head! If you are looking at 15 more years of this, a window unit or two (I have three) is a must have! (In addition to your 10 -5 gallon gas cans! The next one may not happen in 60 degree weather!
