Eleven hurricanes?

So let me get this straight- the U.S. has been directly impacted by 11 hurricanes in just over a year- right?

Wow. Just say it- we've been hit by 11 hurricanes since August 3, 2004. Think about that for a while....

EYE-OPENING stadistics. Maybe it goes up to 12 if Cindy is upgraded to hurricane status.

I just did a mini-research and from 1995 - 2003 the USA was hit by a hurricane only 15 times, that's 9 years. That will be 1.666... hurricanes every year, and not 5.5 hurricanes every year only counting the 04-05 numbers. Just incredible!

Cindy might've been a hurricane, but she was not one at landfall.
