My wife and I went up to the Mt Mitchell area this past week and enjoyed the balmy temps and clear blue skys. The leaves were at their peak. Here are some pictures, enjoy.

So pretty. I saved the waterfall picture and the one of the road going away from you. I will not let anyone else have them . I would like to use tham as desktop wallpaper.

Oh...your pictures make me long for times long ago, when we spent many vacations of there....Mt. Mitchell is beautiful, and so are your pictures...glad you had a great time and thanks for sharing !!!
