Man....so many warnings and reports are getting issued so fast, I can't keep up! I guess the SPC was dead on with this high risk.

Watch out Earlington, Kentucky!!! A Funnel Cloud was reported south of Dawson Springs on Hwy 91.

A barn was destroyed in Dawson Springs.

And that is heading right for the major city of Madisonville. Local TV is treating this like nov. 6th when it hit the east side of evansville!!!!

Hopkins County Fire Department has CONFIRMED Tornado just Northeast of Earlington moving Northeast...this is for the "Madisonville Event".

GRLevel3 has been showing a cell with a meso and 100% chance of severe hail - and the size it gives is 3.25" - that's crazy. Currently it's around Camden, TN, with the radar out of Paducah.

EDIT: The size just went up to 3.5", I'm a little worried for Benton County.

There has been a CONFIRMED Tornado touchdown 5 miles south of Camden, TN by Law Enforcement. No damage reports yet.

Ooh, it's getting eerily close to Baton Rouge now (watching that big red line move toward us is getting my heart rate up). Some awesome clouds moving over us right now. Any guesses for how likely a tornado touch down is this far south?

Well, you know we still get tornados even though we're really far south...it's just that they're usually not as powerful as the ones up in the plains. I'm watching that bow driving southeast. I sure hope that thing breaks up before roaring through here.

Thanks skysummit, I was checking out that "bow" too. I was asking about the tornadoes because it seems there are a lot of reports farther north, but none farther south (yet). So, guess we'll just wait and see. I'll be checking in here all night. Take care (and that goes to everyone else in the path of the storm!).

Also BTW, I didn't see this mentioned, but I guess its too late now...but WREG and WMC in Memphis were streaming their coverage today. They did an absolutely fantastic job today. All 4 of our local stations were wall to wall for about 5 hours today...

Had some quarter to half dollar size hail, and a 61 mph wind gust here at home. No tornado warnings in Shelby County, but not the case in many of our surrounding counties.
