It should move to the northwest for the next 12 to 24 hours. Off the front side of the front. Yes it will make landfall but we have to watch for a stregthing system once it makes it back into the Caribbean.

Wow, looks to definitely be forming into a TS by tonight. I was taken aback by the satellite pic just above me. Looks great for an invest. Nice cold tops too.

Yeah me too its a really good looking invest outflow looks good to me too actually. Its quite an invest.

Well if it does become a TD lets try not to hype this into a significant or major hurricane like was done with TD 27... :wink:

I wouldn't call this a moderate cold front...I would call it a "fizzle out" cold front....made no diffrence in temps here in S FL.....there is to be 2 more fronts coming our way...one Sunday (barely noticable) and a stronger bigger one on Tuesday....I see no reason why this thing won't barrel through this minor cold front if it were to head N into the Gulf.

That was some cold front. The nudist colony in Pasco could probably wear their usual attire without goose bumps today. I was mowing and raking and perspiring. Fizzled out is right.

I don't think you realize you are looking at the remnant center of TD27 picking up the energy of 93L...

That is what I was thinking. We have two threads going on two separate storms but I see one on the infrared.

Good afternoon,

This has been an unbelievable year. We are now experiencing the remnants of TD 27 combined with a low pressure area that formed off the coast. We have had torrential rains and gusty winds since last night. Rain is falling at the rate of 2.6 inches per hour and winds are a steady 33 mph gusting to 44 mph. Once again you can view this on the webcam at http://www.lagovistascuba.com or view the short video we took this afternoon.

Stay dry (if possible)
