SF, God is Real!!When Jesus and His Daddy are not yet ready for someone to enter their kingdom, you can bet it won't happen. Sounds like your daddy has a few more lives to touch before he goes Home.
Fantastic story and I thank you so much for sharing it!!

Thanks everyone again for it sounds like our prayers have been answered. My father will be coming home sometime on Saturday (May 24th) ... I'm very happy about this and I'll be home a little more this week hopefully to monitor his continued healing ...

You're welcome, Mike. You father is expected home in a "few short hours," then.

Just a little update:

He'll be coming home on Sunday ... since he wasn't able to get up out of the bed for almost 1½ weeks, he didn't have enough strength to move about, however, everything else is continuing well ...

Continuing to also think about Dakota as well.

Mike - so glad your dad is coming home tomorrow and improving. I've never had a relative experience what your dad did. But I believe it! And yes it gave me goosebumps to read too. I'm sure your dad is so glad to be going home, to be with his family and to have his faith.

And yes, I'm still praying for Dakota.

He's home, and in good spirits ... Which means I will be home more to post here while I am caring for him as well ... Wednesday, I'm off, and if the need arises, I can take time off under FMLA.

He'll gradually get his physical strength back to walk (been in a hospital bed for almost 2 weeks)...

But it looks like though that he will likely have to retire ...

I'm so glad to hear that he's home now and recouperating!

It's ashame that he will have to retire. He needs to watch out for his health though.
