I forgot about this one - it's REALLY PAINFUL!

It's called PITA (Pain in the Ass)!

I get it everyday - especially at work...

I have "soft enamel", possibly from dad's exposure to copper (mining/refinery town) while growing up. I've flossed, brushed etc forever but still have numerous fillings, extractions and a root canal. That root canal really hurt (back in the 70's). Toothache has got to be one of the worst kinds of pain that there is. I have stood in the garage late at night (Saturday night, as these things never hit you when the dentist office is OPEN), with pliers actually on the tooth, trying to muster courage to pull that little...

Anyways, my last one hurt like a you-know-what all Friday night. I found a dentist open Saturday and drove like the wind. He warned me that the area was infected and would hurt if he pulled it. I said "do it", figuring that with the bad tooth gone, the other pain would HAVE to be less - RIGHT? Nope. After about five minutes of "Ahhh, that's better", the socket/jaw area started throbbing worse than any toothache (and I've had dozens and dozens). The prescribed meds knocked it down, but it took my wife over an hour to go and get the prescription filled. You just have to question your sanity to live in such an overcrowded area.

But my pains have all been the "go away eventually" kinds. I feel for you folks with the back issues especially. Everyone do their best, and be reminded by the weaknesses and pains of our bodies that indeed we are finite and our bodies will fail. This is why you need to be good-to-go spiritually, and know that we are really just visiting! It gets better. :)

I hope all is well with you now. I am sorry to hear you had such a rough night, hopefully nothing too serious!

And yes, I agree, scar tissue tearing is quite painful. My PT told me that knees and shoulders are the most painful parts to rehab.
