You know, if the enemy ever really wants to destroy us, all they have to do is plant enough earworms that everyone goes insane and kills each other with bad CDs.

We could use that at Gitmo...play 24 hours a day's worth of Annie, The Brady Bunch and/or some cuts from The Partridge Family.

They would tell ALL. :larrow:

"Yeah" - Usher.

Ha ha!!!! I have this on a personal favorites CD that I play only when I'm by myself in the car. It also has a couple of Eminem songs, and a couple by Outkast. If my kids knew I listened to that, it would be all over for me!!!

(I sat next to Outkast on a flight to Las Vegas last year and they were really neat guys!!)

Also to add, any song that is chopped and screwed, meaning that the tempo was slowed down and sometimes the beats do double takes.

One day I was walking down the neighborhood to a bus stop to school and I was hearing "I'm Real (Remix)" by J. Lo and Ja Rule, screwed up version. From the way it was arranged, it sounded like a guy and a giant singing.

"Funny Face, I love you, Funny Face, I need you..." (not sure who sang it) or any too twangy country song is like nails on a chalk board to me. My parents had quite the collection of "twang" and I do not miss it at all! :)

Donna Fargo was the singer who sang Funny Face. You might not miss the twang of country music but I do. When I listen to it I get memories of spending time in the kitchen with my mother as she would fix the evening meal , or keep my little sister entertained while she cooked. My little sister came along when my siblings and I were all teenagers. Little sister became an aunt before she was a year old when our older sister had a little boy.

Daylily,

Completly understandable. There are certain songs that remind me of good times too, just not those, which were overplayed at our house. I did not mean to offend you and am sorry if i did.

No Offense taken! I understand certain songs will bring memories that can be good ones or bad ones. The memories we retain can always be brought to the forefront of our minds when we hear a melody or the words of those songs. It is not always country music that will do it.

GRIMMY'S GOT ONE......... Paul Anka: "Havin my baby"....that is the most disgustingly stupid ridiculous song..... but I gotta give props to whoever thought of that Minnie Ripperton song...la lalalllalalal. How about "Midnight at the oassis....send your camels to bed.......

oops I see it mentioned above. I've got to add this, street soldier made me spit out my coke on the keyboard more than once with his putdowns!!!. How about that song.."What I am is what I am and what you are or what....." Who was that freaky girl????

I seriously doubt anyone here has heard of this song, but there's a song in a Japanese music game called "Ready to Rockit Blues". It sounds like a techno track with some hobo mixed into it. It's annoying but I can't get it out of my head.
