I was in vo-tech school when that happened. I remember hearing the news on the radio.

As for 9/11 though, I was working at Wal-Mart when that happened.

I was in my seventh grade civics class and another teacher came into the class sobbing and shaking. She had been to see the President in Tampa a day or two before. We watched on television until it was time to go home. It was so sad and we were not away from the television for days. The only thing I can think of that was similar was the death of Princes Di. I to have my doubts about the investigation.

I was at home sick from school watching TV with my dad. We only had one TV and it was B&W. My dad worked at night and we was just getting ready to go to sleep when the bulletin broke in that Kennedy had been shot at. Soon my mom came in to watch and all three of us were there when the news broke that Kennedy was dead. I remember watching my Mom cry. It was a very sad day. The Space Shuttle blowing up and 911 were simular in a way. You will never forget where you were then.....MGC

I was not even close to being born yet. I was not born until June 25, 1976. But, I have been to Washington D.C. and visited his grave. And I have been to Dallas and stood on the monument in the location he got shot.

Once again, with my poor memory, LOL, I have called my
Mama and said, "Where was I...?"

I was sitting in her lap, "somewhere between six months
and a year old", taking a bottle, and, my middle brother
was playing there in the livingroom, and the phone repair
guy (who was known to our family) was repairing
the phone line, and, Mama called him to come look at the tv.

Of course, I don't remember...I was enjoying that bottle...
