New England snowfall totals...

#1 Postby Tri-State_1925 » Thu Nov 24, 2005 12:12 pm

If anyone has them...

We got 2 inches of snow this morning...nothing photo worthy...

When I left for work around 7AM there was about 1 inch on unplowed roads...this dude in a van tried to take a left up a steep hill. Well, that didn't happen as his van started sliding the other way, right into my path. So I had to slam the breaks and skidded out into the curb. Great start to the day.

Similar accident/near-accident stories around the workplace...one coworker said a policeman that was in front of him suddenly, for some unknown reason, decided to turn his sirens and lights on and gun the car...sending the cop car literally in circles. My coworker narrowly missed hitting him.

Also heard of someone unable to come in to work after wrecking her car...

Actually I was referring to people on this board...not that NWS spotter crap. Obviously I know about that fairly inaccurate stuff...

I'd like to thank wxwatcher for contributing to this. Obviously parts of Keene had more than 3.6 inches.

You didn't say what you wanted...so you got what I found. My parents in Connecticut told me they had 3 inches on the ground Thursday morning
