Go With God Amanzi!
As some of you know, our very own Amanzi is leaving tomorrow to return home to South Africa. It's a very sad day here indeed that this beaming light is leaving our little family for a while. Through the eyes of a non-native she has reminded me what a great country we truly have and all too often take for granted. As a dedicated member of the S2K Staff, Bron will be sorely missed. She will however remain on the staff since she is and always will be in our hearts and prayers. Hopefully she'll be able to drop us a note or stop by when she gets settled. Go with God Amanzi and thanks for all that you've done in building S2K!

Oh guys... Im really struggling to type right now. I am really choked up, and the tears are freely flowing. This is honestly one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I am leaving behind so many wonderful people, with hearts that are so deep and so giving. I will try my best to drop an email to you all or maybe even check in now and again. It will be some months before I can do that however.
MF.. thanks for being who you are and your kind words!!!
I know this path is one that is going to be one that will take me away from many friends and a great nation of people, however the Lord God has set my feet upon this road, and I know He will lead me by the hand, dust my knees off when I fall and hold me up when I am weak. I will rest in the assurance that when I walk in His will and seek first His kingdom, He is faithful and the reward of a closer walk with Him is more than anything I can ask for.
Take care my friends... I love you all with the Love of the Lord.
Amanzi, Over and out.

I've had the privilege of coming to know Bronwyn over the last few years. Her faith and perserverance in the face of some very big obstacles in life have been an inspiration. They give this October guy faith in the Springtime sons and daughters who are tending the gardens.
Bronnie shared with me her most wonderful perspective on South Africa...her passion for the winds that roll across the plains, the native music, and the mesmerizing balance of people with nature. Only a person of passion herself could have written that description as she did. It touched me deeply.
So lucky she is to take back an American citizen from her time here in the form of her lovely daughter. She will be a permanent reminder of the good things that happened here within her family. And the stories of time here will follow both of her children through the years.
I hope that the seeds of opportunity and her admiration for this country can be planted in small or big ways upon her return to South Africa. And I know, without a doubt, that she will find a certain peace once again in the arms of her mother...something that even all the fruit of the USA could never produce.
Bronnie has come to believe in herself and her family. She believes even more in her faith and connection to it. How much I admire her for setting that example. She already has something many of us can only reach for.
She will be missed for sure, but like many of you I am hopeful she will somehow be as close as a keyboard now and then and join us once again in conversation.
A special special person she is.
That won't change as the miles grow further.
Best wishes to you always, Bronnie...and to your family as well.
Steve

After reading Bron's and Steve's posts, now I have tears.
Best of luck to you and your family, Bron. You've been an inspiration and you will be sorely missed. Your attitude in the face of impossible circumstances is remarkable. I don't know how you do it, but it's amazing.
Take care & keep in touch either on here or by snail mail.

Bronnie, when the winds blow across the plains,
you may hear whispers of your friends, here...when the sun
rises, remember that it is we who are smiling on you, and,
dancing joyously, waiting on a word from our friend.
May God Bless You and Your Family, and keep you safe
in His Loving arms.
~Annette!
