Katrina made landfall August 29th, and Epsilon forms on November 29th.

This season is insane.

Hello to you from a (former) Diamondhead resident. We lived on Hilo Place prior to the storm. Have since sold and moved to Dallas. Hope things are going ok for you if you are back at home.

Hey Dr. Storm, how much damage did you have and what were other determining factors in you leaving D'head (if you don't mind my asking)? People always ask me why I'm staying, I'd just like to know why people are leaving, too :D

the average wind speed of the 26 named storms is 88mph (however reanalysis and also Epsilon stengthening will raise this)

the average pressure of the 26 named storms is 974mb (however Epsilon strengthening will lower this)

thats not true. right now Epsilon is pulling down the average. if it intensifies then the average wont be pulled down as much

example: the average of 60 and 40 is 50. if you increase the 40 to 45 it's not above 50 but now the average is 52.5

I don't went to see dead bodies like after Katrina again. It will likely happen if we have a real problem on our hands like Global warming(Which can be the sun causing it). The next Katrina could be 10 times worst. I think its time to think about lifes.

What makes me mad is that Bush has cut funding to all the departments of fema that helped with prepairing for storms! If you ask me that was the most stupidest thing he could ever have done and its going to cost alot of lives if you ask me!
