Ah, man.
I havent heard that, shows you how up to date I am about those things. It will definitley not be the same without Jeff. It would almost be like someone trying to replace Bob Barker on the Price Is Right, not quite but ya know what I mean. Hopefully the next person is just as likeable.

Well... OK, not official, but I'm expecting it.
Producer: Jeff Probst to Leave Survivor
Survivor producer Mark Burnett expects next spring's 12th edition of Survivor will be the last for its host, Jeff Probst – and a former female contestant from that granddaddy of reality shows may replace him.
" I believe in my gut that he will move on," producer Mark Burnett told TV Guide about Probst, according to RealityTVWorld.com, adding that Burnett " half-nodded" when asked if Probst would be replaced by a former female player from the show.
Burnett's statement preceded Probst's announcement on Live with Regis and Kelly that the rumors were untrue that he was leaving Survivor because he was in love with Survivor: Vanuatu's Julie Berry and his contract was expiring after " Survivor 12."
Earlier this month, Probst, 43, told PEOPLE about Berry, 24: " I finally met someone who could teach me about love. Julie's given me a sense of balance I've never had. It's like fingers interlacing."
Berry, whom Probst waited to ask out until the game was over (she came in fifth place during season nine), is equally smitten. " Everything is a brighter shade," says the former youth mentor from Maine. " We complement each other beautifully."
As for his Survivor job, Probst told PEOPLE that he was unsure about whether he'll renew.
" There's the inevitable point where you go, 'Do I want to do other things?'" he said. " But like I told someone the other day, I don't want to be the David Caruso of reality TV. I'll never have as good a job as Survivor."

Yeah... Julie.

But she won't be the replacement. I don't know who will be, but dare I say STEPH?!

Why is it I don't remeber her face? She made it pretty far and it wasn't long ago.
Getting old I guess.
She is quite a cuttie. Good for Jeff. Now we just need to fugure out who this replacement girl is or could be. Thanks Brent!
I don't think Steph has what it takes to be the host.
But I did see Jeanna hosting some other sort of outdoor show. So thats why I kinda think maybe her. Who knows though, has to be someone we all remeber well and that we all liked, I hope not Sue, from the first one.
That would be horrible, they wouldn't do that to us...........I hope.

Jeanna? I think you mean Jenna... there were 2, the one who won in Amazon(and who was in All-Stars but left because her mother died) and then there's the one from Borneo who was also in All-Stars who made it to the Final 3(along with Rob and Amber) and was in an alliance with Rupert.
No way it'll be Sue... not after her blowup in All-Stars(remember?) I kept waiting for her head to explode...

Yes Jenna, the one who won Amazon. The other Jenna has the twins and I don't think it would be her, but maybe Jenna from Amazon. Like I said I saw her hosting another show. It was an outdoor sort of show, where they were white water rafting and things. Saw it one time and then never again, must have not been so great. Yes and Sue did explode on the very first season, did you watch then? And then pulled the crap on All Stars too. She is a nasty one, kinda reminds me of Judd, I am sure he will have the same sort of reaction she did. She was also mad that she got voted off and stabbed in the back in season 1.

New episode tonight... car reward with a twist.
Oh and just got this in, EXCELLENT news.
Ending widespread speculation that Survivor’s Jeff Probst would walk away from the show he has hosted since its inception in 2000, CBS Thursday confirmed to B&C that he has renewed his contract.
“We have a new agreement with Jeff Probst to continue as host of Survivor,” a CBS spokesman said.
Sources said it is a two-year deal that will take Probst through the hit show’s 16th edition in 2008.
Executive producer Mark Burnett produces two cycles of the series each season for CBS.
The 42-year-old Probst’s current contract was reportedly set to expire in the first half of 2006, when the upcoming 12th edition of Survivor ends.
Probst has been vocal about his desire to eventually settle down and start a family, which led to questions about whether he would want to make another long-term commitment to the program or simply leave.
But despite a flurry of speculative press reports questioning whether Probst would go, and who might replace him, he had never declared his intentions.
The Associated Press had quoted Probst as saying, “There’s the inevitable point where you go, ‘Do I want to do other things?’ But … I’ll never have as good a job as Survivor.”

We're still shaking our heads over Cindy's decision. Like Rafe, I would have given the other 4 new cars. In a heartbeat, as he said. A car is a car, sorry, but that's my opinion - spoken from the owner of a 1998 Honda Civic that cost $12,000, brand new!!! The smallest engine Honda makes....guess you can tell I'm not the fancy car type!
Anywho, take away the car and it could have been vacations, new wardrobes, etc. By giving the other 4 the prize each, you are in a sense asking them not to vote for you. It may not work out that way, but it's a shot.
Cindy did herself in by talking up the car prize so much. Her very last comment to them, was something about looking at the stars thru her sunroof in her "brand new" car.....Geez.
Whooda thunk it that Steph would make it to the final 4? I just didn't. I knew she was a fierce competitor, I just figured they'd all gang up on her by now, b/c of the constant threat.

Well bye, bye Cindy. Ah man. And I don't know what I would have done in her postiion about the car. She didn't have a car to begin with so I am sure that played a huge role in her decision to keep it for herself. But it also may have got her out of there alot sooner than if she went the other way. Oh well.
Yea, Steph made it to the final 4. Not only is she a strong competitor but she obviously has a way with people, reading them well and playing the well. Or she would have never gotten this far.
Can't wait to see who takes away the million this weekend.

I caught Cindy's segment on the morning news show today. First off, she's stiff but talkative. I read a comment from her twin saying Cindy is more comfortable with animals than humans. That shows! I still like her okay, but she's just not comfortable in front of the camera it looks like. She downplayed the car bit, why she took the prize, basically saying the curse didn't matter, she could have given them all a car and they could have still voted her out. She brought up the facts that Judd didn't know Jamie was being voted out, he was left of the loop on that one. And then she was left out when they all voted Judd out. She almost seemed like she knew she was next, ~before~ the car prize was offered! Which I just don't think was accurate. I didn't see where she was up next! That said, she was asked who's running the show right now, the final four. Right away, oh Rafe, of course! He's working it, making it look like Steph is in control but Rafe is really the one running things. She came off as sounding bitter when saying all of this and then at the end, she said she liked all 4 and grew close with them. That was just a bonus (that she ended up liking all of them). But it just sounded hollow and not very sincere.
The only nice thing she said was when asked to choose an animal to describe each of the final 4, she said puppy for Lydia. Which was a nice compliment. For Danni, an animal tall, lean, atheletic (are animals atheletic? LOL).....the interviewer said maybe a giraffe? Yeah, Danni's like a Giraffe. The animal comparisons were silly, IMO.
The Survivor Finale this Sunday - don't miss it!
Guess I'm pulling for Rafe, even if he is in charge. He's played an honest, fair game and maybe worn his heart on his sleeve too much, but so be it. I just like him.

Survivor: Guatemala — The Maya Empire
The car curse strikes again! Cindy didn't take Jeff's sage advice to give up the car for a better shot at a million bucks. Instead her move cost her the game as Rafe and Danni thought she was a little selfish keeping the car instead of giving the other final four their own cars. At least Steph was honest saying she probably would have kept the car if she had won. But when push came to shove Steph sided with Rafe and co. and send the zoologist packing. Hmmm. Wonder if Cindy's regrettting that at all now? Best moment of the night was when they returned from tribal council and backstabbing Judd and Rafe said, "Its the hardest Survivor ever and it is the gay guy and four women in the final five." No one saw that coming. If you did, I want to go to Vegas with you and your psychic powers. I also never thought I'd see a group of Survivors sitting around discussing the Backstreet Boys and Justin Timberlake, but I guess stranger things have happened. Who will win on Sunday night? Your guess is as good as mine, but I think I'm pulling for Rafe or maybe underdog Danni. — Angel Cohn

STILL CARRYING A TORCH: The tribe (or, at least, the teams of lawyers and entertainment attorneys) have spoken: Jeff Probst has inked a new, multi-year deal to continue on as host of CBS' Survivor, which is green-lit for at least three more seasons after the one concluding Sunday. Says Probst in a statement, "I was thinking about retiring and spending my time traveling to exotic locations around the world, meeting new and interesting people. Then I realized I'm already doing that — and getting paid for it, as well." Season 12, to air in the spring, currently is being filmed at an undisclosed location, although there are some reports it's Youngstown, Ohio

Ohio???? Are they serious? Nothing wrong with Ohio Mary, but for a survivor that seems odd. If they were going to do a U.S. season it would seem they would go tropical. Humm. Hey maybe you could sneak a peak Mary.
If this is true, and are filming now, maybe it is going to be totally oppisite of typical. Having them deal with the cold and the snow instead of the heat and bugs. Interesting if it is true.
Think I will be pulling for Danny to take away the million. I like Rafe but something about him last night rubbed me the wrong way. Can't put my finger on it, but he kinda bugged me last night. He has played a great game though. And I know you guys will hate me for saying this, but I would not mind seeing Steph win either. Got to give the girl credit for being able to stay in it this long, really. I don't know if the jury would vote for her, but you never know she did earn it. Any one of the final 4 is okay with me, with Lydia last on my list though. If they were smart they would take her to the final 2 because I dont think the jury would give it to her because she rode coat tails to get there. We shall soon see who gets it, and see where indeed they are filming the next sesaon.
