You can PM it to me...I'm sure the mods will not have a problem with that.

But you can give me the name on the board. There is not an issue with that. We talk about the names of NHC staff all the time. Give me the name.

And stop giving incomplete answers. Give a total cost estimate of the project and how you arrive at 10B. Give total weights. Lengths. Labor. All of it. Give me how you came up with the number of tubes needed to take the temp down.

No problem that you PM Air Force Met with your Email or a name at NHC that AFM is asking for.

While I wait...I wish to ask how you propose to suspend, each tube, which if made of lightweight aluminum will weigh 74 million lbs, hundreds (depending on the location) if not thousands of feet off the ocean floor?

Choices of next response:

A. Well, I sent it, something must be wrong.
B. Oops, I deleted it by mistake! It was there though, I'm not lying.
C. Here, I'll send it again. *cough cough*

EDIT: posted at same time, and it's C! Surprise!

How about now did you get it?

Actually the tunnels would basically support themselfs since they can be designed to be neutrally bouyant. All you have to do is anchor them so as to not float away.

Cyclone, how do you plan to take this to the senate so it can be approved? Then on to the Presidents desk.

Why because your going to need Man power/Money to get it done. In you better have some really good facts to back you case when you get to the senate floor.

Yeah...and I hate to tell ya...but that sounds like an email you send someone when you don't want to hurt their feelings. I will give it to Derek Ortt. I'm sure it can get Frank Mark's first hand account of it.

But...you also said "I already did all that homework you metion above with direct communication with the hurricane center years ago."

The email YOU provided was dated October 22, 2005. Who did you talk to in the NHC (not the HRD...of which Franks Mark's is a part) years ago? Give me a name so I can verify NHC contact "years ago."

Well it is just an Idea at this phase. I don't have all the engineering facts yet just some principles to go by with a lot of variables. If thoughtfully engineered my guess it should work.

The principles work.
