Check out the "Snow for Texas" thread.

So far, this seems like a big ole nothing here on the NW side of DFW. It's wet outside, but nothing is frozen. There's water on the cars, signs and trees; no ice. But that could change.

I live in the KC area. We have three inches on the ground with a forecast of four more inches. It took an hour to get home from work.

gboudx.. its 830 pm here and in Irving on the west side of Dallas its a complete icy mess.. the roads are slicked over... freezing rain, sleet and snow fell here all evening and the temperature was in the low 20's... u bet tonight and tomorrow morning is going to be treacherous and the freezing rain and sleet has changed to all snow in Dallas now which may help the driving a little but its still going to be very dangerous tonight and in the morning.....

plainsman, it's iced over really good here in Rockwall too. We had some moderate sleet about 30 mins ago. There's very light accumulations on the pavement. Kristine on Ch 11 mentioned something's changing to give us more snow, but the radar is showing no precip from FTW-westward. I wonder what she's looking at?

We got nailed with up to a foot of snow here in KC. Most, if not all, schools are closed today. The county government is closed today. I still have to go to work. Getting to work is going to be a pain. :( Someone please tell me what is so important about a life insurance company being opened? :)
