Sylvania, Ohio ( northwest suburbs ) we've got 6 inches already and local met says at least 2-3 " more before sunrise. It's light snow, blowing and drifting is a problem, I live in Lucas County, we are under a Level 2 Snow Emergency. 6 inches in less than 5 hours time... yuck..... I am guessing my kids won't have school as there is icing occurring as well. I haven't been able to get warm all day. :cold:

Just went out to measure snow here... we now have around 4.5". Snow has tapered off now to just some flurries and occassional shower. We might pick up another inch or so overnight.

OhioStorm, I said yesterday: "I'd say you'll still see a pretty good snowfall, maybe three or four inches, five if you catch an hour burst of an one inch rates."

How close did that end up being to what you saw? This is my first year at looking at in-depth material to forecast my own snowfall for areas. I said I'd receive about 4.5 to 5 and we ended up with 4.2

We ended up somwhere between 4.5 and 5 inches. Not bad for early December. We are now over a foot for the year.

Farther east in Gahanna (northeast Columbus) they got about 3.5 inches...and the airport, which is two miles from me, got only 2.2 but they always seem to come up short, so surprised they got that much.
