I reckon many peeps today say "Happy Holidays" because it's a part of our politically correct culture society anymore.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!! :D

Today was our stores' Christmas party at work..

I actually got up enough courage and guts and sung my rendition of "the 12 days of Christmas, Wal Mart style".

I got a STANDING OVATION!

It was very hard because when I started, I was incredibly nervous.. but I used the energy of my fellow associates and the fact that they sung along with me as power to help me get through the song..

1 girl I work with even had just missed my preformance and that upset her, she really wanted to see it

I am off from Wally World today, but I went over to my store earlier to get my grocery shopping done.

I talked with several of my fellow associates. They all helped me as I recalled the events of that nearly fatal night a year ago.

Although.. I hate the people that say.. "it's been a year, just be thankful you're alive and move on!" BECAUSE IT'S NOT THAT SIMPLE!

I still have flashbacks, occasionally I'll still get nightmares too. Scary stuff though let me tell ya.

My biggest fear is also that I'll somehow get hurt again. Even though I'm very careful.

I thought I'd update you on what's going on..

Shortly after 5:30pm ET.. while I was laying in bed resting.. I happened to start thinking of the accident. This led me to begin to cry uncontrollably for a 1/2 hour or so.

I attempted to call 3 people who told me if I ever need them.. I could call them.

1 of them.. My brother wasn't much help. I love him, his wife and my 3 nieces to death but him and his wife have all told me the same thing.. "It's been a year, move on". Although.. My bro's wife did give me some interesting advice. She asked me to see if Wal Mart has any like employee assistance thing where I could call and talk to somebody anonymously. I'm gonna check that tomorrow because I think we do.

Another friend of mine.. Left a message on her cell phone, then tried to call at home. Got no answer

Last 1: A friend I work with. Gave me her cell phone #, told her call anytime I wanted. But my PHONE HAS A LONG DISTANCE BLOCK ON IT SO I COULDN'T

Shortly before 9pm ET.. I also shed a few tears thinking about the things that occured right before I left Wal Mart that night.

John, :)

When you "retire" for the night...take some deep breaths and picture some pleasant images like the beautiful fauna and forests of Hawaii, a nice cool waterfall spraying mist at the bottom, pretty tropical parrots, a calm lake looking as smooth as glass with maybe a fish or 2 making bubbles toward the surface as they play...this way you'll have a great night's sleep and feel refreshed and rejuvenated for another day. :D

((((HUG))))

Hello and thank you Eric..

If you're still here.. I've got a ?. Everywhere I look up the info for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, I appear to exhibit most if not all the symptoms of this "disease" if you wanna call it that.

I just have a question. {and maybe you could get some info for me if you do a little research} But who can I talk to or go and see to see if I do indeed have Pstd like it appears and see if I need any meds or not..

please find me some info, buddy.. thank you
