This year, Debi's crocheting things for gifts; mittens, caps and scarves. $ is very tight, so she's doing the best she can.

Yep. I took the easy way out and bought a lot of gift certificates. My cajun kringles have been ordered for out-of-towners. So I'm done!

Almost done...just tying up a few loose ends. Gotta go get the stocking stuffers...lottery scratchoff tickets, lifesaver books and other little silly sussies!

I have bought very little this year. Actually have money, but no spirit to buy it or stores that have anything that you want. All the stores in the mall have "hand me down" stock from other stores that they didn't want, so you can imagine what we have. I have yet to find a plain black jacket! Oh you can find purple ones and yellow ones and orange ones and lime green ones, etc...but Brown, Black or Dark Blue, NOT. Of course going to Edgewater in Biloxi is the same thing and I have heard such horrow stories of going to Mobile to the malls I am staying far far away from that town. My daughter has ventured over there twice and said she would not go again! She didn't care if she didn't get any presents under the tree, so it must be bad for her to say that.

So I have a few things, not many, I am going to take off work Thursday and Friday and go find one very small thing per person and then buy gift cards to go with them. A littler personalization and then something to get what they want when our stores get a better choice of stock.

I made about 160 cookies last night for my friends at work, neighbors and the girls at tap dancing class. :D All presents bought and shipped last week to my family in Michigan. Still waiting on a few gifts to arrive that I ordered.
